You’re Unable to Treat Because the REVIAN App Says a Treatment Was Already Completed Today

If you are seeing the Treatment Completed screen in the Revian app, a treatment was recorded on the date that is displayed, and the start and end times of that treatment are also listed below that.

If that date or the treatment times do not appear correct, it is likely that your previous treatment was not carried fully to completion, and instead was completed when you re-connected for your next treatment. This can happen if the Revian cap is inadvertently removed a second or so early, before the treatment ends, preventing it from registering as completed until you next connect to the cap, at which point the treatment finishes and is uploaded.

In order to prevent this, just make sure to wait until you see the Treatment Completed screen and check mark before removing the cap, instead of removing it when you hear the sound notification.

If you notice this happen again, please do let us know and include in your message a screenshot of the Treatment Completed screen so that we can further assist.

Revian is designed for one 10-minute treatment per calendar day, which runs from 12:00am-11:59pm each day. If you treat after midnight, the treatment will be recorded for the day is was actually completed. You can treat at any time during the next day, no matter what time you treated previously so you won't be skipping a day, but you can run no more than 1 treatment per calendar day. This system is in place to prevent over-treatment, as our clinical studies showed one 10-minute treatment per day to be most effective - your photoreceptors need rest too in order to function optimally.
