Can I treat with long or thick hair?
REVIAN's light based treatment works by bathing your scalp in two wavelengths of light to help regenerate the cells that grow hair. The light from the REVIAN cap has been tested and confirmed to penetrate hair follicles, but if there is very thick hair between the LEDs and your scalp the light could be deflected and blocked. However, the light will penetrate thinner hair.
If there are specific areas of your scalp that you want to treat we recommend you part or style your hair prior to treatment in such a way that the light can best reach your scalp in those areas. Treating with slightly damp hair can also help with this.
