My Cap's Battery Is Not Charging
If you are experiencing charging issues, please identity your connector type below and select the corresponding dropdown to troubleshoot.

1. Check your connector tip
If your Cap is not sufficiently charging, make sure the Magnetic Micro-USB Connector Tip is securely in the Cap’s charging port.
- This small tip is designed to stay in the Cap at all times.
- The charging cable attaches to it magnetically.
Potential issue:
If you pull the cable straight up when disconnecting, the connector tip may come out and stick to the end cable.
What to do:
- If the tip came out, simply insert it back into the charging port.
- Inspect the cable for any visible damage.
- Try another wall outlet to eliminate that as a potential cause.
- When disconnecting in the future, hold the base of the cable and tilt it sideways to release it safely.
👉 If the connector tip or cable is lost or damaged, you can upgrade HERE.
2. Charging Port indicator light
When you plug in the charger, check for a blue light inside the charging port (on top of the cap).
- It may take up to 5 seconds to turn on.
- This is different from the small light on the charging cable.
What the light means:
- Solid blue = Charging
- Slow blinking blue = Fully charged
⏱ Charging can take a minimum of 3 hours to fully charge, especially if:
- You’ve done multiple treatments without recharging, or
- The cap hasn’t been charged for a while

1. Ensure the cable is fully inserted
If your Cap is not sufficiently charging, make sure the Micro USB-C Cable is fully inserted in the Cap’s charging port. To make sure it's fully inserted, you can place the Cap on the clear charging base or place your hand under the Cap, and push the cable down.
Potential issue:
The cable is not fully inserted to allow a proper charging connection.
What to do:
- Inspect the cable for any visible damage.
- Try another wall outlet to eliminate that as a potential cause.
- When disconnecting in the future, hold the base of the cable and pull straight up to release it safely.
👉 If the cable is lost or damaged, you can purchase a new cable HERE.
