How many treatments should a fully charged Revian Cap complete?

When new and fully charged, the lithium‑polymer battery in the cap is designed to complete 3–4 full treatments.

Sharing a cap with more than one person uses the battery twice as fast. If two people each complete a full daily treatment, plan to recharge about every other day.

My cap is under 3 years old and dies too quickly. What should I check?

Contact us if a cap under 3 years old cannot finish a full treatment, or you get two or fewer treatments on a full charge. Check these items first:

Magnetic charging cable
Press the magnetic tip firmly into the charging port. If the insert is loose or sitting proud, it may not charge.
Charging cable damage
A worn or internally damaged cable can undercharge or make the cap look fully charged when it is not. Cables are easy to replace.
AC adapter
Confirm the adapter is working. A green light should be on while it is in use.

How long does a cap usually last?

Since launch in 2019, the average cap lifespan we have seen is about 5–6 years. The battery is not replaceable.

Some capacity loss over time is normal. You will gradually get fewer treatments per charge until the cap needs charging after every use.

A cap older than 5 years may be near the end of its useful life. Long stretches without charging can also wear the battery down faster.

Can I replace the battery?

No. The battery inside the cap is not a user‑replaceable part.
