Can REVIAN be used while undergoing chemotherapy?
Though REVIAN produces no harmful radiation, because red light therapy increases blood flow, patients need to have completed chemotherapy before they start or continue using REVIAN.
The REVIAN precision LEDs emit 620nm and 660nm wavelengths, which do not emit any UV or infrared radiation. There are also no chemicals to apply or drugs to ingest. So while REVIAN is very safe, red light therapy does increase blood flow, and so we recommend patients complete chemotherapy before they start or continue using REVIAN and that they consult directly with their physician regarding any treatment with a medical condition.
