Can I travel with REVIAN?
The REVIAN cap is very travel-friendly. REVIAN can be used anywhere you can use your mobile device and have a good network (internet/wifi) connection. You will need an internet connection in order to load the REVIAN app and for your treatments to upload to the database. As long your location allows you to use your mobile device normally, and you can connect to the internet, you'll be able to use your REVIAN cap.
There is no special clearance required by the TSA to carry the REVIAN medical device onboard a commercial aircraft. REVIANis a limited energy device similar to mobile phones that have lithium ion batteries and it can be carried on airplanes. The screeners are unlikely to ask about it, but as it is an FDA-Cleared medical device it is perfectly safe to carry onboard. Restrictions to using the device are subject to onboard mobile device usage. Please contact your airline directly for more details.
